The GRAIN TRAIN

HISTORY OF THE GRAIN TRAIN:

Brett Herbst (the founder of The MAiZE Company), asked me if I could build for him a Grain Wagon Train.  He said his cow train worked great, but even with the 20 cars he pulls, there still was a line of folks waiting the ride.  He also said he had a lot of parents and grandparents that wanted to ride with their kids and grandkids and the cow train sits so low to the ground, it is hard for parents and grandparents to get in and out of them. Brett needed something with more capacity where parents, grandparents, and kids could all ride together.  The grain train provides answers to all of these requests.

GRAIN TRAIN FEATURES:

Grain Wagon Farm look with heavy duty steel frame.
Capacity – 4 adults + 4 small kids, or 2 adults + 6 small kids.
Automotive style trailer hitch and ball (quick coupler).
Safety chains for each car.
Low profile/high flotation tires with automotive style spindle, hub, lug bolts, and rims.
Two wide bench seats set at standard chair height.
Wagon step entrance and safety door chain.
Grain train pulls and tracks just like the cow train.

PULLING REQUIREMENTS:

5 car grain train – Minimum 30 HP tractor.
10 car grain train – Minimum 50 HP tractor.

Brakes are a must for those who operate your entertainment farm on hilly areas.  Brake assemblies can be put on the grain train**

Hill area HP Requirement – Depending on the grade, may require 50% more HP**
(Tractor weights may be required for extra traction)
